I want to copy and paste my pivot chart which is setup with "SLICER" buttons into a power point slide.


When I do this the SLICER buttons loose fuctionality.  Is there a way to use the slicers once outside of excel (all the way out in Power Point during a presentation)?

Hi Benny,


Although you can work with Slicers within PowerPoint by inserting an Excel Workbook object, they will only work in 'design' mode and will not work during a presentation.

If you want to work with slicers during a presentation, I would suggest either switching between Excel and PowerPoint while you are presenting or using static screenshots of your chart on several slides to simulate using the slicer.
