Hi Wendy,

Our construction kit is designed for Excel 2016 so there are likely to be some differences if you try to work through it using Excel 2010. The year planner itself doesn’t use any features that aren’t supported by Excel 2010, but the steps needed to create it have changed as the Excel interface has been updated over the years and buttons have been moved to different places.

You can confirm whether the final year planner will work for you by downloading a copy of the sample files from this address:

http://excelcentral....amplefiles.aspx

If you download the files and find the YearPlanner-Final file in the Session 7 folder, you can see how the year planner will look when it is complete and confirm that it works correctly in Excel 2010.

We don’t plan to release any courses for older versions of Excel at this stage. We estimate that over 80% of Excel users are now using Excel 2016 and this is only likely to increase as time goes on.

I hope this information is useful and please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Best Regards

Hello - I am really interested in the calendar construction kit but only have Excel 2010.  Would I be able to use the construction kit, and if not do you plan to launch versions for older versions of Excel?

Your online courses are great by the way!

Wendy

Hi Ron

We're working on this right now and may get it to press late July/early August.

Best Regards
